Blueberry Milkshake – Crepes Delight
Before anything else, I would like to thank sis Willa for featuring my last week’s post (Chooks to Go – Rustan’s Gateway) ^_^ And even though I’m awfully late, I’m making sure that I’m joining FTF! So without further ado, here’s my entry for last week:
3 hours of idle time (waiting for daughter’s end of class) hence leaving me to stroll around Tutuban Mall and decided to get myself a glass of Blueberry Milkshake.
I call this my “3-hour Php95 companion”…
I bought this just once and I loved it! Yes, I love blueberries although it’s not readily available here in the Philippines… So I usually go for strawberries instead. Anyways, they had vanilla ice cream mixed in as well which is why I love the consistency and the flavor. Not too sweet and not too tangy. Just right.
Although budget wise, I can’t afford to drink this everyday, or else I’ll be broke. Teehee! I’m saving up for a lot of things. ![]()

Drinking Milk – Athena, Milk for Women
Most people would prefer coffee over milk, agree? Well not me. I would only drink coffee if I would be having a hard time sleeping. Yes, apparently, coffee has a total opposite effect on me, it literally makes me feel groggy and sleepy. Milk, on the other hand, keeps me awake.
I was talking a very close friend before and he mentioned that milk could probably the reason why most foreigners, especially Americans, are big boned and bulky (like muscular). Personally, I have no idea if he’s right or wrong. But I just noticed that most of us Filipinos are not really into drinking milk (mostly sodas and juice) unlike the Americans.
So, I’m giving myself a challenge. I bought a box of Athena and would see if this would give me any significant change to my body. No, I do not wish to have a very bulky and muscular body (well, on the other hand, maybe I do! :P) I’m drinking a glass now as I’m typing, and this is my second day. Oh and I got the chocolate flavored one.
Just a quick side note: No, I’m not paid for this nor was I given a sample to make a review of the product – read: “I bought a box of Athena…”
I’ve searched around the web and saw that Athena offers:
Beautrition – a combination of beauty and nutrition that gives women a triad of benefits to help them win their everyday battles:
• Beautiful Skin. Athena provides anti-oxidants (Vitamin A, E & Zinc) to help women’s skin become healthier and more beautiful.
• Strong Bones. Athena is high in calcium to help strengthen women’s bones.
• Slim Figure. Athena is low in fat to help women maintain a slimmer figure.
Well let’s see. I’m more into the strong bones part of this “beautrition” since I have brittle bones. And I guess that beautiful skin and slim figure are an added bonus for me, as I never thought that I’d be getting these benefits when I purchased this (okay, honestly, I bought it because it’s violet LOL!)
So, I’ll make a review on this once I consumed all, and probably would buy another box for a more thorough review.
