Food and wine, a perfect combination. One can actually notice that some restaurants would proudly display their metal wine racks just to entice the customers into buying at least a glass to complement the food that they ordered. However, only the professionals would know which one to choose so as one can experience the wine’s value in its entirety. There are actually quite a lot of wines all over the world, and getting to know them one by one requires determination and passion. Learning to appreciate the taste and smell of wine is not done overnight, and needs practice and innate skills in determining the distinct differences between each wines.

This is why five-class restaurateurs would hire a wine connoisseur to make sure that their customers get the perfect wine for every order. But if you would take a close look into these wine experts, they don’t just know what these wines are made from and why they would complement a certain ingredient, these people know how to sell these wines to the customers through their knowledge and expertise. As long as they show confidence with their presentation, anyone would surely want to take a glass of wine and enjoy their food.

I know I would.

For all food lovers out there, we all know that wine is like cheese wherein there are a lot of variants and flavours, and it is because of that in which people have started wine tasting classes and knowing their origins so as to get more knowledge on how to choose the best wine for a certain recipe.This is why some restaurants even hire wine connoisseurs (a person of informed and discriminating taste) just to make sure that their customers are getting the best wine possible for a certain dish. Before anything else, I would like to thank sis Willa for featuring my last week’s post (Chooks to Go – Rustan’s Gateway) ^_^ And even though I’m awfully late, I’m making sure that I’m joining FTF! So without further ado, here’s my entry for last week:

3 hours of idle time (waiting for daughter’s end of class) hence leaving me to stroll around Tutuban Mall and decided to get myself a glass of Blueberry Milkshake.

I call this my “3-hour Php95 companion”…

I bought this just once and I loved it! Yes, I love blueberries although it’s not readily available here in the Philippines… So I usually go for strawberries instead. Anyways, they had vanilla ice cream mixed in as well which is why I love the consistency and the flavor. Not too sweet and not too tangy. Just right.

Although budget wise, I can’t afford to drink this everyday, or else I’ll be broke. Teehee! I’m saving up for a lot of things.
