VolanteSystems.com Review

Almost every business has to rely on point of sale systems or POS systems. These are terminals that come with POS software to help manage the sale of the products or services being offered by the business establishment. Among the businesses that have heavy use of POS systems are restaurants, cafés, and other hospitality establishments.

Because of the differences in the nature of various fields of business, POS systems are often designed based on the type of business it is to be used for. A coffee shop POS or restaurant POS is often designed differently from retail POS systems. For hospitality and restaurant point of sale systems, Volante Systems is trusted by numerous businesses such as restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, stadiums, and convention centers, among others.

VolanteSystems.com is the website of Volante Systems. The site provides comprehensive information on Volante Systems and their products and services. The home page greets visitors with a predominantly gray webpage design which exudes professionalism and seriousness. The header links provide a good overview of what you can find on the website with links such as Industries, Technology, Products, Services, Success Stories, About Us, and Support.

Although the site has a wealth of information, visitors will have to browse within the website to be able to access this information. The home page simply acts as a cover page for the site albeit a very simple one. Finding what you need is still quite easy because the links on the header can bring you to the relevant information.

My First Page Rank

This food blog has been live since April 23, and has undergone few page rank updates, but it is only now that it finally gained its little green bar and is now a PR1 food blog! Yipee!

So what’s my secret? Nothing really. Just the usual food and restaurant reviews and a few sponsoring here and there for additional backlinks and that’s it. Seriously, I didn’t think I would get a PR1 on this blog that soon, but I’m not complaining Winking smile All worth the food trips and sponsorships! Yay!

A Quick Update on this Foodie Blogger

Hello everyone! I miss updating this blog because I’ve been really busy with other online endeavors, so I had to do some online work to gather up some moolahs for my daughter’s upcoming tuition fee. *sob*

It’s not that I didn’t have any foodie experiences lately, in fact, I had quite a handful to share with you guys, and I’m so excited about posting them, but unfortunately, my bluetooth dongle acted up so I have to purchase a USB cable for my cellphone instead sooner or later – can’t really write a good blog post without pictures on a food blog now can I? ;)

But just a quick preview of what’s in store for this food blog, here is my list of “to blog”:

  • I won GC’s from a foodie contest I joined which I posted here: I’m A Monster When I’m Hungry!
  • Fried up Mashed Potato
  • My experience in The Stock Market Restaurant
  • I’m loving Seattle’s Best
  • My experience in Presidents (A Chinese restaurant)
  • etc.

So I guess that’s going to be a hefty blog posts to come, I seriously need to buy that USB cable! Or better yet, I need a camera… Like really.

My Treat for the Family

It’s been a while since I last treated my family something since I usually don’t have the resource to do so, but one time I was able to manage to get a few extra bucks from my online earnings and my offline business, thank God for the blessings so I was able to buy some extra treats for the family.

After I checked how my offline business was doing, I had to replenish some stocks so I went to the groceries and got the usual cup noodles, coffees, biscuits etc. After seeing that I still have some moolah on hand, I decided to buy some other things for the family.

Since my parents are fond of eating breakfast VERY early in the morning (around 4am?), I decided to buy SkyFlakes (in container) just in case they don’t feel like cooking breakfast in the wee hours of the day.

I also brought home pizza from El Bonito’s, and it was the first time my mom commended on a pizza. This box only costs Php200 and I’m really glad I got a thumbs up from my mom who rarely eats pizza. She told me she liked the crust better – unlike others that are difficult to bite into.

As for me, it’s not really a big wow, but the fact that the whole family (except my little brother who literally is VERY PICKY eater) enjoyed the treat is already good enough for me to say that it has a wow factor. My daughter had 3 freaking slices! Talk about gluttony. Yikes!

See that picture on the right? My dad couldn’t wait until I finished taking a photo of the pizza that he was already taking a slice! LOL Smile with tongue out

I can actually do this every week but I’m also saving up for quite a lot of things right now. But I’m sure I’ll be treating the family again in no time. Smile

Chooks To Go – Rustan’s Gateway

On our way to Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, we stopped by Rustan’s Gateway to look for something to eat. Yes, we were dead hungry but we wanted to go cheap. So we opted for a whole chicken from Chooks to Go for less than Php 200 and I was very impressed with their Pepper Roasted Chicken (I love black pepper), plus the gravy was superb!

Chooks to Go

We ordered Rice in a Box to go with our chicken and it was a very hearty meal!

If you wish to try their chicken varieties, you can head over their website to check out their different products and store locations at http://web.chookstogo.com.ph/
